Education. Passion. God. Values. Here at LRE McGlotham we are focused on books, technology, add well as educating students and educators. Our board consists of community leaders and educators with a passion to help create life long learners.
After the passing of Christian, awesome dad and lauded educator Leicle Bostic in 1992 the Wichita Public Schools decided to name an elementary in his honor. In 1997 his wife Maxine began donating books to the Bostic Elements library of the school every Christmas. In 2010 the Leicle & Maxines 5 children (Leicle Macque, Robert, Clarence, Cristie & Elizabeth) began to share the desire to donate and increased the value of the book donations to $600 working with the campus library to make sure the books were diverse so as to represent the world around us.
Around 2011-12 while visiting Bostic and talking to the principal Tiffany Irving it was noted there was a severe lack of updated technology. Around this time the oldest son Leicle Macque, second son Robert Bostic, mother Maxine and youngest daughter Elizabeth began discussing a way to get technology
Soon after Leicle Macque, Robert & Elizabeth authored a book with the intention to donate the proceeds to the newly founded LRE McGlotham foundation.
